Very Simple Strawberry Jam

  • 4 pt strawberries – 4 cups crushed berries
  • 7 cup sugar
  • 1 pouch Certo

Place crushed berries and sugar in a large non-aluminum pan and bring to a boil.  With the mixture rapidly boiling (must hold a boil even when stirred) add the Certo and mix.  Let the mixture boil for 1 minute.  Transfer hot jam to sterile canning jars for processing.  Yields 7 cups of jam.
