Outdoor seating at Healthy Living opening soon!

Hello HL Community!

It feels like Spring! With good weather coming our way, we’re thinking about the ways we can get things back to normal at HL.

Unlike when COVID began last year in March and we had to make so many rapid changes with no time to prepare, things are very different now. We’ve learned a lot over the past year; how to pivot in a thoughtful and organized way that makes everyone safe, how to be transparent and clear when it comes to sharing our plans. Here are some of the things we have coming up:

Our Covid update is simple: As a company we intend to continue to uphold all standing executive orders and operating regulations from the States (VT and NY) and Departments of Health. As regulations ease, so will ours.
We are excited to welcome you to dine with us again on our outdoor patios. Following all state guidance for restaurant seating, we will be opening the patios at the South Burlington, VT and the Saratoga Springs, NY store on 4/5, and at our new Williston,VT location as soon as our tables and chairs arrive (probably on or around 4/9). There will be signage alerting you to our safety protocols including remaining masked unless seated at a table, not leaving waste behind, and you’ll be asked to leave contact tracing info on a clipboard at the entrance to the seating areas. We will also have a “Clean/Used” sign on each table. Sit at any table you choose with a green “Clean” sign. When vacating a table, please turn the card to “Used” so we know to clean the table.
Another great return-to-normal: starting mid-April we will bring back limited sampling in our stores. We want you to try our amazing HLFresh items! Samples are to be consumed before entering the store will be offered fully packaged in our entry areas.
As for inside seating, we want it back and we know you do too! We will let our community know as soon as we have set a date for this, and just like outdoor seating, we will message our safety procedures clearly and visibly and well in advance!

Yes….it’s been quite a year and we are more grateful than ever for your patience, your loyalty, your smiles, and the way you’ve acknowledged our staff. They have been our heroes day in and day out. We hope you recognize them as your heroes too; they’re keeping the shelves stocked, the registers open, the beautiful food coming out of our kitchens, and the facility clean, whether it’s in the store or by using HLtoGo. We hope you’ll continue to let them know that they rock!!
