Aaron’s Dillicious Hummus
- (2) 15 oz. cans garbanzo beans
- 8-10 cloves roasted garlic
- 4 Tbsp tahini
- 3/8 cup water
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 Tbsp black pepper
- 2-4 dashes paprika
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh dill, chopped
- 2 dashes olive oil
To roast your own garlic: peel garlic cloves and place them on a large piece of heavy duty tin foil. Toss them with olive oil, salt and pepper. Crease the tin foil to make an air tight pouch. Place pouch on a sheet tray and place it in a 400 degree oven for 30-40 minutes or until the garlic is golden brown and very tender. For the hummus: Mix all ingredients together in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. Pour into a serving dish, splash with olive oil and enjoy!!
