Clarina’s Chinese Five Spice Pork Belly Skewers
2 and 1/2 lbs. pork belly (We love Vermont Heritage Grazers!); cubed
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup white sugar
1 and 1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice
1 pkg skewers
Combine soy sauce, white sugar and Chinese 5 spice in a medium bowl and whisk until sugar and spices are completely dissolved. Add cubed pork to bowl, stirring to coat all. Transfer to refrigerator and allow to marinate for 1-24 hours. Remove pork from marinade and skewer all pieces. Turn grill to medium heat. Once grill is heated, add pork skewers and cook for twenty minutes, turning frequently. Remove from grill and serve.
