Sesame Noodles

  • ¼ cup sesame oil
  • 3 Tbsp dark sesame oil
  • 7 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp balsamic or Chinese black vinegar
  • 3½ Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 2 tsp chili oil or chili flakes
  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh ginger (or 1 tsp ground ginger)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 14-ounce package cooked Chinese noodles
  • Scallions and sesame seeds for garnish

Cook noodles according to instructions on package. Mix the remaining ingredients (except the garnish) together in a large bowl. When noodles are done, drain them and toss with the marinade. Garnish with chopped scallion and sesame seeds. Makes 6-8 side servings.
