Beef Bahn Mi (Vietnamese Sub)
For the beef:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp fish sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4-5 clove garlic; minced
- 3/4 cup peanut oil
- Fresh ground pepper
- 12 oz sirloin, flat iron, or flap; cut into thin strips
For the Sriracha Mayonaise (Spicy Mayo!):
- 1/4 cup mayo
- Sriracha; as desired (we recommend 3 Tbsp)
For the sandwich:
- 1 baguette; cut in half lengthwise
- 1/2 cup cilantro sprigs
- 1/4 cup mint leaves
- 1 carrot; julienned or shredded
- 1/2 yellow onion; julienned
- 1 cucumber; sliced thin
- 4-5 radishes; julienned or shredded
- Hoisin; as desired
- Spicy mayo; as desired *see recipe above
- Cooked beef *see recipe above
- Soy sauce to drizzle; optional
In a small bowl combine all ingredients. Let marinate for 15-30 minutes. Grill on high heat for a minute or two per side until cooked as desired.

Slather one side of bread with spicy mayo and other with hoisin. Layer with all other ingredients, close up sandwich, and eat. And eat. And EAT AND EAT AND EAT.
